History:

The City of Spencer has over 100 years or rich history since its incorporation in 1903. Spencer is a historic, beautiful and diverse community located just east of the North Canadian River , located in Oklahoma County , Oklahoma, which is part of the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area. Spencer is approximately ten miles from Downtown Oklahoma City and shares boarders with the City of Jones , City of Nicoma Park , and the City of Midwest City. Spencer gives businesses, residents, and tourist the unique experience of country-style living while offering easy access to main thoroughfares and the bustling excitement of downtown Oklahoma City.

City Government:

Spencer city government provides many important services including Police and Fire protection, Water and Sewer, Street Maintenance, Solid Waste Management services and Code Enforcement. As a result of a long-time philosophy of innovation, the Spencer's government leads the way in providing services in the most efficient ways possible.
