The club is a volunteer service organization for the purpose of enhancing and promoting amateur radio communications within the community and assisting government communications during emergencies and disasters. We also host amateur radio licensing classes and assist members in achieving licensure at no charge. We experiment with amateur radio communications technology for the purpose of advancing the capability to communicate with others in our communities, state, nation, and around the world. There is no charge for services. The only income currently is through membership dues, which provide funds for registration fees, postage, administrative costs, etc. One goal for the future includes a public outreach program to educate school children and to participate in radio classes or clubs to help them learn electronics and radio technology. We encourage members to participate in radio communications exercises with all levels of government and with each other.
