Casey Farm
Casey Farm is a 300-acre historic farm located on the west passage of Narragansett Bay. Owned by Historic New England, it is a working farm raising vegetables, small fruits, herbs, and flowers for a 170-member Community Supported Agriculture program. The farm is home to a flock of heritage-breed chickens, 2 happy pigs, and 18 Narragansett turkeys. Casey Farm hosts the Coastal Growers' Farmers' Market on Saturdays in the summer from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and is open for guided tours on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1 through October 15. For gardeners, we hold a Plant Sale and Garden Fair each Mother's Day weekend.
Members pick up their shares either on a Tuesday or Friday in our share barn 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. No delivery available. CSA members are offered a choice of seasonal produce/fruit and in some cases are able to pick their own, i.e. strawberries, green beans, cherry tomatoes, etc.
