ABOUT CAMP…
Camp Cha-La-Kee is a YMCA operated facility that incorporates wholesome outdoor fun, opportunities to build friendships and life-changing character development for ALL its guests. We are a day camp for children ages 7-12, a sleep away camp for children ages 8 to 16 and a retreat center for groups of all ages and sizes.  Activities on our beautiful 61-acre campus, located on the shores of Lake Guntersville, include canoeing, horseback riding, giant swing, archery, boating, tubing, swimming, arts & crafts, The Blob and much, much more.

We believe in the benefits of small group cabins, so we limit our summer cabin capacities to eight campers and two counselors.  Also, a Healthcare Professional is onsite 24 hours a day to administer first aid and dispense camper medication.
