About:
Film as an art form at the Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs has grown into an entertaining and educational year-round entity serving thousands of residents and visitors of all ages in Southwest Florida. The Centers first launched their Foreign Film Series in 2012. Then added the impressive Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers. And, now the exciting Bonita Springs International Film Festival (BIFF).
(BIFF) Bonita Springs International Film Festival’s mission is to create experiences that bring people together to discover extraordinary films from around the world. It is through the art of cinema that we foster a community that is more informed, aware and alive!
Presenting over 70 carefully curated narrative, documentary, animation and short films from around the world, complemented by Workshops, Demonstrations, Q & A Sessions with filmmakers, writers, directors and actors the Centers for the Arts brings a wealth of experiences for all ages.
And, the unique and entertaining special events begin with Thursday’s over-the-top ‘Opening Night’ featuring live music, delicious food and beverages. And, of course, the finale, Awards Night and Filmmakers ‘It’s A Wrap’ Party on Sunday featuring delicious food, beverages and live music. Each event is unique, filled with great catered food, beverages, quality entertainment, and, of course, lots of opportunities for filmmakers, directors, writers, actors and audiences to meet, share ideas and opportunities.
