The Berkeley Unified School District Garden and Cooking Network Program provides engaging hands-on garden and cooking-based nutrition education classes to schools eligible for Network for a Healthy California funding.  Funding is available to schools that have over 50% of students eligible for the free or reduced lunch program.

Our vision is to teach every child to seek, grow, prepare and eat nourishing, delicious sustainably-grown food, and to empowering students to make choices that have a positive influence on their personal health, family, community and surrounding environment.
