Ballet Concerto is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose of making the art of ballet and other forms of dance available to audiences of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds. Since its start in 1969, Ballet Concerto has attracted many nationally and internationally renowned choreographers, as well as emerging choreographers to work with its students. By opening up its doors to the community, the organization has become an outlet for talented young dancers, while offering employment opportunities to local professionals and guest artists.Ballet Concerto provides various programs for school-aged children including, Lecture Demonstrations and its Find and Inspire New Dancers program (F.I.N.D.).
In attempt to extend its outreach to families who may not otherwise experience the beauty and excitement of a live performance, Ballet Concerto presents its annual “SUMMER DANCE CONCERT,” an outdoor concert in Fort Worth’s Cultural District, in addition to its holiday performance, “A Holiday Special,” at Will Rogers Auditorium.
