Held over the Columbus Day Weekend, Autumnfest began in 1977 as an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the spirit of Northern Rhode Island.  Held at the World War II Veteran's Memorial Park, the success of that first Autumnfest celebration became the model for subsequent events.
