Since 1994, owners, operators, brothers and partners, Steve and Bruce Cousins have transformed Armida Winery from a quiet producer of good wines into a much livelier place focusing on artisan, single-vineyard wines from the top growers in Sonoma County.Armida has a loyal following for its well-made, handcrafted wines. The winery property includes two domes, some outbuildings, a lovely deck and gardens. The tasting room is large and expansive, with displays of wine and gift items as well as a deli case with cheeses, chips and crackers.. The grapes are sourced from their own small vineyard, as well as from the cooler microclimate of the Russian River Valley, where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir thrive. The warmer growing regions of Dry Creek Valley and Alexander Valley produce the fruit for their Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. They also produce a Gewürztraminer and a Rosé of Pinot Noir.
