About Us:

Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures is the original kayak eco tour in the greater Sarasota area and has been in business well over a decade. We offer a wide variety of guided kayak tours in many different types of water in Southwest Florida's coastal and inland habitats for paddlers of all ages, skill levels, physical conditions, and sizes!

We pride ourselves in employing guides that truly care about protecting our fragile ecosystems and habitats and actively promote conservation and environmental awareness.

Almost Heaven Kayak Adventures offers:

24 Hour paddleboard rentals with free delivery in the greater Sarasota area as well as half day rentals on Lido Key.

A kayak search for manatee and dolphin and the opportunity to float through incredibly mesmerizing mangrove tunnels at Ted Sperling Nature Park on the South end of Lido Key.

A leisurely loop through Jim Neville Marine Preserve and a stop by the historic Midnight Pass on South Siesta Key (Turtle Beach).

A chance to get close and personal with huge alligators and enjoy the pristine, old Florida beauty of the Myakka River State Park (experienced paddlers only).

We have any and all paddling wants and needs covered!

We can also provide custom tours and locations all over the Sarasota-Manatee region and beyond, including trips to some of Florida's most amazing freshwater springs and rivers. If you don't have a large group, but want a custom tailored tour don't fret! We offer private tours that could include shelling, swimming, birding, and more!
