I am David Hatton, and I'm from Manchester, England. I spent one year living in the North West Suburbs of Chicago and loved my time there so much than many of the towns there have become a basis for a book I wrote called Across The Miles. The book is about a 20 year old girl called Emily who has moved to Chicago-area for the first time after breaking up with her boyfriend, Richard.
