The City of Aberdeen has approximately 273 acres of park land within the city limits. One hundred and fifty acres have been developed for community use. The Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Department would like to thank you for your interest in "your" facilities. This site is designed to help you learn more about the City of Aberdeen's facilities and parks, and make it easier for you to reserve a facility or park.

As we have many large groups requesting the use of our parks during the spring and summer months and a limited number of portable picnic tables, we request that you reserve the park with our department. We begin taking reservations in January for the current year.

If you wish to reserve a facility or park, please give us a call at, 537-3230, to make certain that it is available and then send us a letter requesting the usage to our office. We do our very best to try and keep your park system in a first class condition. However, we do experience quite a bit of vandalism in our parks. If you see anyone in the process of vandalizing a park, please call the Aberdeen Police Department at, Emergency 911, or the Parks and Recreation office at, 360/537-3230.
