In 2024, we will have the usual awards for the Oklahoma Poem Contest, free food from Neighbor’s Fork food truck, Hi Fi Hillbillies playing with dancing, fun activities, pet photography and a pet poem contest, martial arts demo with a haiku contest, and door prizes. COME JOIN US!

Festival Schedule:

10:00: Museum opens–come tour exhibits.

11:00: Begin kite decorating (Judging w/prizes at 2:00)

11:30: Martial Arts demo and haiku contest

Noon: Oklahoma Poem Awards Ceremony

Noon-3:00: Free lunch from Neighbor’s Fork food truck

Noon-3:00: Free pet photos by Breedlove Pet Photos & Pet Poem Contest

12:30-3:00: Kite-flying with American Kite Association members

1:00-3:00: Hi Fi Hillbillies music and dancing

2:00: Kite Decoration Contest Awards-Kite Flying

3:00-5:00: Museum open, tour exhibits.
