July 2-14, 2024 - Sara Porkalob's Dragon Mama
Part II of The Dragon Cycle
Directed by Andrew Russell
"Incandescent Force and Phenomenon" (The Boston Globe) Sara Porkalob transforms the Festival's CenterStage into a vast canvas of emotion, humor, and resilience. With her powerful voice and an evocative collection of '90s R&B hits, Porkalob vividly brings to life the complex tapestry of her mother Maria's early years and queer identity, affirming the power of family, the importance of self-discovery, and the indomitable spirit of those who dare to dream beyond their circumstances.
July 5-14, 2024 - Death, Let Me Do My Show
By Seth Barrish
From the co-creator and star of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend comes a one-woman musical comedy that is definitely NOT about the ever-present specter of death. Rachel Bloom's new show is filled with raunchy and escapist material that will in NO way explore the pandemic and all the tumultuous events that ensued in her personal life. NOTHING will stop Rachel from partying like it's 2019!
July 20-21, 2024 - Alex Edelman
The good boy comes home. After a wildly successful run of Just For Us on Broadway and on HBO, for which he received a Special Tony Award, Alex Edelman returns to Williamstown with a fresh batch of all new comedy. Called "one of the funniest minds of his generation-or maybe any generation" (Washington Post), this new stand-up show will delight and enlighten. Alex will be joined by Williamstown's very own comedian, Maggie Crane, who according to Entertainment Now, allows us "to not only find the funny, but also to find the empathy."
July 23 - August 10, 2024 - Pamela Palmer
By David Ives
Directed by Walter Bobbie
The author of "innumerable clever comedies" (The New York Times), David Ives puts a noir spin on an existential romance in this world premiere play. Pamela Palmer lives a seemingly perfect life with her husband at Wishwood but has a bizarre suspicion something's wrong, only for them both to become entangled with the detective she hires to investigate. Directed by Ives' longtime collaborator, Walter Bobbie (Chicago, Venus in Fur), Pamela Palmer goes undercover as a plainclothes philosophical look at the human condition.
Sunday, July 28 - Gavin Creel in Concert
3:00pm
An up-close and spectacular afternoon with the Tony® and Olivier Award-winning actor and songwriter and his band-mates Madeline Benson and Chris Peters. Called "endearing, funny, and relatable" (Time Out NY), Gavin will charm us with a mixed repertoire of musical theater classics and pop covers, along with compositions from his new show Walk on Through, based on a commission from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, that takes us on an intimate journey of discovery and transformation through the lens of the art that captures his imagination.

August 1-2, 2024 - WTF IS NEXT: StoryCourse
Created by Adam Kantor with special collaborators
StoryCourse is where theater and food come together. A multi-chapter, multi-course, interactive, and narrative dining experience where the story informs the menu and the menu informs the story, StoryCourse breaks down the walls between the kitchen and the dining room, between strangers sitting together at a table, between chefs and the mouths they feed, between experience and possibility. Created for and with the Williamstown community by Adam Kantor (The Band's Visit) with special collaborators, this is a StoryCourse experience you won't be able to have anywhere else.
Tables will be assigned when checking in at the ballroom entrance.
August 2, 2024 - WTF IS NEXT: Britton & The Sting Unplugged
Through the testimony and mesmerizing grooves of gospel, alternative rock, and soul, Britton & The Sting create an intimate, sacred gathering to uncover just how tethered we are to the element of water. Like water, in what ways do we boil, floor, rain, and renew ourselves?
This 45-minute experience features original music, personal testimony, and dialogue about the creation process, vision, and future of the full-length piece, MAMA. Why is a funk liberation band writing music about water? What is the relationship between spirituality and this work? How does Britton's identity as a Black, queer Southerner living in Brooklyn influence this new creation?
Reservations are required; entrance is general admission. There is no seating.
August 3, 2024 - WTF IS NEXT: Normal Gossip Live
Hosted by Kelsey McKinny and Alex Sujong Laughlin with special guests
Divulge and indulge in Normal Gossip Live, a morning of juicy, strange, funny, and utterly banal gossip about people you'll never know and never meet, coming to the stage straight from the stream of the hit podcast. This entertaining performance with host Kelsey McKinney, producer Alex Sujong Laughlin, and special surprise guests dives into the lives and decisions of complete strangers.
August 3, 2024 - WTF IS NEXT: KILL CORP
By Sofia Alvarez
Directed by Portia Krieger
At her fancy, corporate job Marie has started to notice that when her female co-workers announce they are pregnant, they are deftly replaced. Now that she's pregnant herself, this seems like more of an issue. She suggests to her work bestie that maybe they just kill all of their bosses, so then she'd be charge! It's all a joke... but is it?
This reading is performed in the Auditorium at the Clark Art Institute. Seating is general admission. Reservations are required.
