From: Williams College Museum of ArtSummer interns on Bloomberg Connects
It’s been a little quieter around here since the departure of our six Summer Arts & Museums Immersion Program interns. They had quite a busy and exciting nine-week stint, and they have left behind memories of their time at WCMA in the form of short videos on our Bloomberg Connects app.
Bloomberg Connects is a free arts and culture app that takes you behind the scenes at the museum with exclusive multimedia perspectives from artists, curators, and more. To access the intern videos, download the free app, open up WCMA, and scroll down to the "Student Voices" section.
Interns are an incredibly valuable part of the WCMA team, and we look forward to welcoming a new cohort in September!

WALLS is back!
The start of the fall semester means another WALLS Pickup Day!
WALLS—Williams Art Loan for Living Spaces— is a special collection of original artworks destined for student dorm rooms. At the beginning of each semester, students line up for first-come, first-choice selection of more than 100 works of art by artists such as Titus Kaphar, Kitagawa Utamaro, Claes Oldenburg, Francisco de Goya, Alison Saar, and many, many others. This fall, students are invited to come to the museum Sunday, Sept. 10. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
Curious about the artwork? The WALLS works will be on display in a special preview event on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Stop by and see the art and learn more about what’s happening at the museum this fall. All are welcome!
