The Whatcom County Youth Fair is not a Spring Break day camp or babysitter. Parents must be present and able to assist their child(ren) ages 12 and under as needed or have a proper babysitter present.

The Whatcom County Youth Fair is hosted at the Northwest Washington Fair and Event Center.

Whatcom County Youth Fair is a unique opportunity for Teen Leaders and adults to work together to teach youth participants.

This fair is put on solely by Volunteers, Teen Leaders, Parents and Sponsors. Youth Fair is a hands on 2-day learning fair for youth ages 6-18, that is in its 32nd Year.

February 14 to March 17, 2023

Youth Fair Registration Opens at Online Only
Pre-Registration is required for all exhibitors. Divisions are filled on a first come first served basis. All exhibitors must be age 6 by January 1 of current year.

April 6, 2023

4:30pm-8pm: Youth Fair Set Up at NWWF Grounds

Teen Leaders, Superintendents, and Board help set up for Fair. Pizza dinner provided.

Meeting in Expo Building at 6:30PM

April 7, 2023

8:00 AM-10:00 AM: Exhibitor Check-in and Animal Health check

8:30 AM-10:00 AM : Posters Due Light Horse Barn Saddle Room

8:00 AM: Barns open to feed animals. Exhibitors must have parents present.

7:30AM -9:00 AM: Livestock Judging Contest

9:30 AM-3:30 PM: All Division Activities

10:00 AM-2:00 PM: Silent Auction- BP Peoples Place

3:15PM -3:45PM: Awards ceremony in Light Horse Arena

4:00 PM: Awards in your Divisions.

4:30 PM: Division Area Clean-out, animals released .All exhibitors must help with clean up and pitching out stalls.
