From: Weir Farm National Historic SiteKids to Park Day with Friends of Weir Farm This Saturday 1-4pm
May 20th is a great day to bring your kids to Weir Farm NHP! The Friends of Weir Farm will join the National Park Trust’s Kids to Parks Day of celebration to encourage kids and families to visit local, state, and national parks.
Stop by the Friends of Weir Farm tent THIS SATURDAY May 20th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm for an afternoon of special Junior Ranger and black bear-themed activities.
Go on an Art Bears scavenger hunt and check out the colorful new Art Bears installation. Earn a Junior Ranger Badge by completing one of the fun activities that promote black bear awareness. While you are there, hike to the pond! Take Part in Art using free art supplies to borrow and create your very own work of art! Step back in history and tour the fabulous Weir House and artists’ studios. It is sure to be a great day at the park. All activities are free and open to “kids” of all ages. Rain or shine. No registration required, just stop by for some family fun.
