Watertown Children's Theatre : Tickets on sale NOW for The Giver!

Arts and Entertainment

January 9, 2023

From: Watertown Children's Theatre

Jonas' world is perfect. Everything is under control and safe. There is no war or fear or pain. There are also no choices. When Jonas turns 12, he is chosen for special training from The Giver—to receive and keep the memories of the community. The Giver is the only person who holds the memories of real pain and real joy. Now Jonas will learn the truth about life—and the hypocrisy of his utopian world.

Renaming the Black Box Theater

In case you missed the big announcement – We’re thrilled to announce that between now and WCT’s 40th Anniversary Celebration next fall, all contributions to MCA’s Capital Campaign up to $100,000 will be matched dollar for dollar to name our Black Box Theater in honor of Dinah Lane, through the generosity of anonymous donors. The matching pledge runs until the end of 2023, and the dedication to Dinah is being planned for WCT’s 40th Anniversary in the fall of 2023!

To make a contribution toward the match, text WCT40 to 44-321, or visit the Donate page at mosesianarts.org and select Capital Campaign from the drop down menu. As a bonus, all donors who give $25 or more become Mosesian Arts members, and if you donate at $100 or more, you also receive a pair of tickets (based on availability) as part of that benefit package!

For questions about the Capital Campaign, please contact Jeannette Belcher-Schepis, Director of Development: [email protected] or phone 617-923-0100 x8300
