Our Guest Artist of the Month

Brier-Rose Werner has been blowing glass for 10 years at Atlantic Art Glass and is a self taught lamp worker who sells her glass pieces and jewelry throughout Downeast Maine. The work she creates is inspired by nature and "The Hobbit" series. She hopes for her blown glass work to be found in a hobbit hole and for her jewelry to look like it was picked off a branch.

Brier-Rose’s work can be found at the following Maine locations: Atlantic Art Glass in Ellsworth, Island Artisans in Bar Harbor, and Mainely Gallery in Belfast. She will be teaching at Waterfall Glassworks on Saturdays for the month of February.

Our Waterfall Glassworks Experiences accommodate participants of all skill levels, from first-timers to experienced glassblowers.

Over the course of just one hour, the instructor will assist you one-on-one in making a glass tumbler, vase or other decorative item. You’ll roll the glass in the color(s) of your choice, blow into the pipe, help shape your piece, and walk away with your own, one-of-a-kind creation.

You can easily share the experience with others by booking multiple hours – the instructor will cover the basic procedures and safety information with the whole group, then assist each person with their creation. Plan a memorable class with friends or a corporate event.
