Summer 2024 is in full swing but before we know it, October will be right around the corner, and our beloved OysterFest will be back! Since its inception in 2001, Wellfleet OysterFest has grown to become one of the most popular annual events on Cape Cod.

We are THANKFUL to say that the success of this iconic festival is due to the time and dedication we receive from our volunteers. Upwards of 20,000 people gather and take over Main Street with local food, beer and wine gardens, live music, arts and crafts vendors, and, of course, oysters. Lots and lots of oysters and other ‘Fleet-raised shellfish dished out directly from the men and women who harvest them along our shores. 

And it cannot be done without folks like YOU. Would you like to join the party and help us make the 2024 OysterFest a success? Just think, you can volunteer a few hours of your time and then enjoy the ‘Fest the rest! All volunteers receive free entry for the whole day on the day of the volunteer shift.
