Congratulations to Trenton Doyle Hancock on the opening of CAMH Court, his latest commission for the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston (CAMH), on view through April 27, 2023. In celebration of the March–April 2023 NCAA Men’s Final Four® in Houston, Hancock has collaborated with CAMH and Adidas Basketball to create the first-ever playable basketball court in an art museum. This court will be open to players of all ages on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition to the custom court, Hancock has designed the backboards and basketballs, extending the cast of characters that populate his fantastical world into new dimensions.
