The Drought Management Task Force has updated the drought status and have declared the end of the drought in the Commonwealth.

Those communities located in Middlesex County (which is part of Drought Northeast Region and include: Ashby, Townsend, Pepperell, Dunstable, Groton, Ayer, Shirley, Littleton, Boxboro, Acton, Maynard, Stow, Hudson, Marlborough, Hopkinton & Holliston): Observations of no flow made within a perennial River after January 1, 2023 may be used to argue the River is intermittent per 310 CMR 10.58(2)(a)1.f .
