Season’s greetings fellow Chaplin residents,

It's that time of year again, time to Light’n Up Chaplin! Please join our 3^rd annual holiday light contest. This year, we support The Giving Tree Program run by Chaplin Elementary School staff. The Giving Tree Program collects donations and goods and gives directly back to CHAPLIN families in need. By participating in Light’n Up Chaplin, 100% of your donation will be given to The Giving Tree either as a financial donation or we’ll use your donation to purchase items that were needed but not yet received by the program.

How does it work? Simple.

-Send your donation to: Chaplin Recreation Commission 495 Phoenixville Road, Chaplin 06235 by December 15^th – you can always just send a donation without participating!

-Decorate your house, yard or property to be seen from the road.

-Starting December 16^th, a link to the survey will be provided to anyone interested in casting their vote. Everyone, participants included, can enjoy the opportunity to drive around town admiring the displays, and using the survey will cast their vote for Chaplin’s BEST display.

-On Monday, December 19^th, all donations will be turned in to The Giving Tree Program, just in time to share the gift of giving with our neighbors in need.

-The survey will be closed on Friday, December 30^th and the winners of Light’n Up Chaplin will be announced on New Years Eve.
