CONCORD, NH - On February 4, 2025, building off the success of the 2024 election, the New Hampshire Republican Party announced that Jimmy Thompson will serve as its next Executive Director. 

An experienced New Hampshire operative, Thompson has worked on races up and down the ticket across the Granite State. Most recently, Thompson served as Director of Field Operations on Governor Ayotte’s historic campaign. Thompson was responsible for the campaign’s voter contact operations, playing a critical role in Ayotte’s 9-point victory and consequential wins in the cities of Manchester and Nashua. 

New Hampshire Republican Party Chairman Jim MacEachern released the following statement on the matter:

“Jimmy’s grassroots experience and organizational leadership skills are going to be a great asset to the NHGOP. He’ll be ready to go on day one, continuing our mission of party unity and electing Republicans up and down the ticket.”

Governor Ayotte’s spokesperson John Corbett also added, “Jimmy Thompson will continue the important work of building out the statewide grassroots operation that led to victories across the state in 2024 - Governor Ayotte looks forward to partnering with the Republican majorities in Concord to deliver for all of New Hampshire. When it’s time for Granite Staters to head back to the ballot box, we’ll work hard, knock doors, and win.”
