Up next in our Main Gallery - Openings: New Works by Umbrella Studio Artists. This annual exhibition showcases recent and ongoing works from our talented community of Studio Artists.
The exhibition culminates in The Umbrella Open Studios held this year on March 18 & 19!

Join Ceramics Artist in Residence Katie Bosley Sabin for a two-day workshop in carving clay with expressive precision!

Observe demonstrations of carving and piercing methods for creating symmetrical designs and patterns with accuracy and learn how to carve clay to create one-of-a-kind ceramic works of art.
Teen Artivists ages 13+ are invited to join artist Nayda A. Cuevas for a hands-on creative workshop to see how she uses her art on a gallery wall to create a dialogue about race/identity and create your own.
In a safe and welcoming space, students will learn and discuss how other artists stand up to racial injustice and confront such issues as colonialism, stereotypes, slavery, racism, patriarchy, apartheid, and erasure of indigenous peoples and then create their own artwork to be exhibited at The Umbrella Arts Center in April 2023.
Attend one or both of these free workshops on March 4 & March 25, 1-3pm.

For the week of February vacation (February 18-25), the Lowell National Historical Park is partnering with community organizations to bring free programming to families.
On Saturday, February 25 from 12-2pm, our Arts Education team will be leading a Winter Arts and Crafts workshop for all ages at the Boott Cotton Mill Museum in downtown Lowell. Drop by any time between 12-2pm to create fun crafts inspired by winter!

The latest exhibition in the ArtScape Main Gallery features visions of landscapes by Umbrella Studio Artist Louise Arnold and local artist Lola Chaisson.
