Capital Classics presents the Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival production of Shakespeare's bloody tale of power and ambition, running July 13-30 on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph. Performed outdoors under the stars, guests are encouraged to bring picnics, blankets and chairs. Seats are limited, so reserve early. One of Mark Twain's little-known works, Is Shakespeare Dead? is an extended semi-autobiographical essay published in book form in 1909. In this volume, Twain jumps into the age-old debate on whether or not Shakespeare wrote his own works. This was the final book by Twain published during Samuel Clemens' lifetime.
