This year's Youth Art Month exhibition at The Grace showcases the very best artwork created by students in elementary, middle school, and high school throughout Region 14. Hand-selected by their teachers, 1,156 student pieces from 27 schools and 40 teachers are represented in the show. Youth Art Month is a national celebration of the visual arts. Thank you to everyone who participated in and supported the exhibition this year!
Youth Art Month - State Level
Sunday, March 12 -- A reception was held in Austin to celebrate the Texas Art Education Association's Youth Art Month Exhibition. Two AISD students represented our district and had their artwork juried into the show: Selah G. and Hollie N. It was announced that Mrs. Cecelia Abbott selected Hollie’s piece (pictured here) for professional framing and display as part of The Governor’s Gallery, which will remain on view in the Governor’s offices for a full year. Congratulations, Hollie!

Galaxy Acrylic Pour
Thu, March 30 | 6 - 8pm
$30 | $25 for Grace Members
Join us for a Galaxy Acrylic Pour – a fun way of painting where the paint is poured onto the canvas and moved by tilting the canvas rather than being applied with a brush. Each painting will be unique! This is a great class for people intimidated by technical painting, or just a pro-painter looking to mix it up! Bring your favorite bottled beverage and sip while you paint.
