From: Florida OrchestraFree Local Admission Event on Nov. 2 Combines Art and Music to Uplift and Support the Community.
WHAT:
In response to the recent events that have impacted the region, The Dalí Museum and The Florida Orchestra proudly announce Artful Healing: A Community Event. This event offers a unique opportunity to come together, find solace and celebrate the strength and resilience of the community through the inspiring power of the arts.
The Dalí will open its doors with FREE admission to Pinellas and Hillsborough County residents. Throughout the day, guests will be treated to live performances by musicians of The Florida Orchestra, who will play inspiring music individually and in small groups to enhance the art experience. In addition, an array of activities are designed to further engage visitors in the healing process, such as an Art & Meditation session and hands-on art activities that encourage personal reflection and mindfulness. Special pop-up tours will also highlight the musical motifs within Dalí’s works.
ADMISSION:
FREE Gallery Admission for Pinellas and Hillsborough County residents; valid ID required. Advanced reservations are highly encouraged. Gallery Admission does not include Dalí Alive 360°, which can be purchased for a $15 add-on.
