From: The Community ChestEastern Bergen County, New Jersey -- The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County holds its second 90th anniversary celebration event with 'Girls Night Out For The Girls', an evening of fun and fundraising to support women's health, empowerment and economic independence. The festive event takes place during Women's History Month on Wednesday, March 8 at Dimora Ristorante, located at 100 Piermont Rd. in Norwood, New Jersey 07648, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event's net proceeds will support the organization's Young Women's Leadership Program and grants for West Side Infant and Teen program and the Women's Rights Information Center.
Emcee Gillian Stollwerk Garrett from Gilly's Organics will present the evening's program and highlights. Guests will enjoy a variety of hors d'ouerves, wine, Prosecco, soft drinks, and desserts, while listening to music. The program features a live fashion show by Max Mara of its latest designs.
Several vendors will be on site, including Love is Essential with skincare products, Stylates with workout clothing, Wonnaful showing accessories, Robyn Ophir presenting fine jewelry, Gilly's Organics with skincare products, Embroidery Baby with embroidered clothing, and Max Mara featuring their 2023 fashions.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors
With the motto "Neighbors Helping Neighbors", The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County leads initiatives and supports nonprofits that make communities stronger and benefit the people of eastern Bergen County in New Jersey. The founders' vision was to fill a chest with individuals and businesses' generous contributions and to empty the contents by awarding competitive grants to support worthy projects led by local nonprofit agencies in the area demonstrating the capacity to provide services to local residents. The Chest provides support and awards grants to vetted nonprofits that strengthen communities and benefit people in need in the area.

Founded in 1933, The Community Chest, a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, has supported local not-for-profit agencies for 90 years. The Chest leads initiatives and supports nonprofits that make our communities stronger and benefit people in need in eastern Bergen County. Each year, The Chest raises funds and allocates them to agencies demonstrating the capacity to provide services to local citizens. The organization also provides coordinating and planning services in its communities, serving as a bridge between agencies and organizations and investing in the stability and quality of the service network.
