ABOUT THE SHOW: Recently coming off its award-winning adaptation on NETFLIX, tick, tick...BOOM! is an intimate, autobiographical pop/rock musical from the creator of RENT that focuses on Jon, a struggling composer who desperately wants to get his show on Broadway before the clock ticks by to his 30th birthday. Filled with comedy and heart, this show defines what it means to be a success on your own terms.

PRODUCTION DATES: April 20-May 7, 2023

REHEARSAL DATES / PROCESS: Rehearsals for this show will not begin until approximately March 6th, 2023. They generally take place from 6:30 pm-10:00 pm Monday-Friday and some Sundays. Not all actors are called each night. TADA is extremely organized and will get the cast a calendar ahead of time so that actors know which dates and times they are called for at rehearsal. Your time is valuable to us! No rehearsals will take place over the Easter holiday.

ROLES:
Jon – (M, 25 – 30’s, tenor) A musical theatre composer facing his age as his 30th birthday fast approaches. *must be able to play the piano*

Michael – (M, 25 - 35, baritenor) Jon's roommate and best friend who previously was an actor and is now a marketing executive. This actor will double other roles in Jonathan’s story

Susan – (F, 20 - 30, soprano) Jon's girlfriend and a professional dancer. This actress also double other roles in Jonathan’s story.
