The South’s largest music and camping event, The Suwannee River Jam (SRJ), will take place once again this year Sept. 20-23 at The Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground (SOSMP) in Live Oak, Florida. If you are an up and coming country solo artist, duo or a band with stage performance experience and can entertain on stage, would you like to be on one of the stages during this tremendous weekend?

Auditions to select country artists and bands to perform at the SRJ are scheduled and the SOSMP is currently receiving applications online at www.suwanneeriverjam.com. The June 23 and July 29 auditions for solo/duos have been filled. However, there are two more scheduled for Aug. 5 (bands only) and Aug. 12 ( solo/duos only) still open but do not delay in applying. This is not a paying gig, but an opportunity to perform at one of the best country music festivals in the Southeast. Don't miss this chance to show the world what you've got! You could be one of our talented artists who rocks the stage this year! 

You can find audition applications online by going to www.suwanneeriverjam.com then to auditions to sign up if any spots still exist. All dates are for Saturdays with all beginning at 7 p.m. 

If you are a fan, please come support area and local talents as they give it their all to earn their spot on the SOSMP stages during these auditions. These four events are going to be great entertainment in the SOSMP’s Music Hall. 

Karaoke is held each Thursday night in the Music Hall with host Ted McMullen and karaoke singers entertaining from 7-10 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. (only on Thursday nights!) to the Music Hall for supper and a chance to visit with others before karaoke begins. Bring your own CD or music or use Ted’s vast music library! Live music is also available every Friday and Saturday from 7-10 p.m. in the Music Hall.

During live event performances, a minimum of $5 per person is required unless otherwise specified. The SOS Café is open Thursday – Saturday for breakfast, lunch and supper.
