Camp Explorations

Information about our summer 2024 Camp Explorations program is now available on our website!

Camp Explorations is a hands-on, interactive, science-focused summer camp program. Each session includes daily experiments, hands-on activities, related games, journaling and plenty of fun! There are nine different sessions covering topics such as Archaeology, Paleontology, Astronomy, Forensic Science, Zoology and much more. Please note that Camp Explorations is a very popular program, and registration dates typically fill up quickly.

Registration Opens

- Museum Members (Family-level and above**): Registration opens Wednesday, February 21, 2024 @ 12:00 p.m.  Join today!

- Scholarship Recipients: Wednesday, February 21, 2024 @ 12:00 p.m.  More Information

- General Public: Friday, February 23, 2024 @ 12:00 p.m.

Already a member, but not at the Family ($70) or above level? Click here to add an additional gift to get to the $70 membership giving level and qualify for early camp registration.

Summer Camp Session Information

Little Explorers Sessions
A camp for the museum’s littlest explorers, ages 4-5
8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (AM sessions only)

Adventure AM & PM Sessions
For completed grades K-5
AM Session: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
PM Session: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Lunch is supervised for those attending both AM and PM sessions. Aftercare is also available.

Middle School STEM Sessions
For completed grades 6-8
9:00 a.m. - 4:00p.m.

Before Camp Care and After Camp Care is also available.
