Welcome to 2023 and a wonderful year of art, ideas, and inspiration ahead. We’re opening our doors wide to welcome everyone with free admission through March 30!
The Clark's “Free for Three” program offers free admission for three full months to provide greater access for all to the permanent collection and our special exhibitions.
This winter, everyone can enjoy three months of unlimited access to our permanent collection galleries and our three new exhibitions—Promenades on Paper: Eighteenth-Century French Drawings from the Bibliothèque nationale de France (open through March 12, 2023), On the Horizon: Art and Atmosphere in the Nineteenth Century (open through February 12, 2023) and Portals: The Visionary Architecture of Paul Goesch (opens March 13, 2023). On February 11, we open the latest presentation of contemporary art in our public spaces with Elizabeth Atterbury: Oracle Bones.
In addition to all that's happening indoors, it's also a terrific time to take advantage of the great outdoors. The beauty of our winter campus provides an ideal respite, encouraging quiet contemplation as well as offering lots of room for fun and recreation. Sled or ski down Stone Hill, traipse through the woodlands, and when snow blankets the Berkshires, don't forget to borrow a pair of snowshoes from our rack to take a trek across the grounds!
Our public programs calendar is also bursting with a busy line-up of free lectures, tours, concerts, films and more. Who says winter is the "slow" season?
Bring your friends, bring your neighbors...we look forward to sharing all of this with you in 2023!
