E-Rate Form 471 Filing Window Opening

Now is the time to request internet funding assistance.
 
The FCC has announced that the filing window for the Form 471 is opening on January 17, 2024.  It will remain open until 11:59 ET on March 27, 2024.  This form is used to select the service provider and price for library/school internet (Category 1) as well as Category 2 requests. The Form 471 can only be filed after the Form 470, or request for bids, has been filed and in place for 28 days.

The library has plenty of time to file the Form 470 yet too, as that window remains open. The last day to file Form 470 is February 28th, 2024.
