Scrooge, Tiny Tim, the trio of Christmas ghosts, and the story of what happens when a bitter old man is given one last chance at redemption, are as well-known as any of Dickens’ characters. They’ve been portrayed in films and on TV around the world and now you can meet them all, live on stage in Spotlighters’ captivating, one-man adaptation.

Using only Dickens’ inimitable language, Phil Gallagher’s performance will thrill and chill audiences of all ages. With minimal props and costume, Gallagher portrays all these much-loved characters and breathes new life into a story that is as moving, relevant, and redemptive as it was when first written over 170 years ago.

THE STORY: A summer theater plans a season far too ambitious for its capabilities - Dracula, Hamlet, and Charley's Aunt in rep - and farce ensues.

Spotlighters is excited to offer a new way for you to support the Exceptional, Diverse, Creative & Bold theatre you love by funding ONE DAY’S OPERATING EXPENSES for the theatre!

JUST $23/Month

funds 1 Day of Spotlighters!

Every day Spotlighters has routine and boring expenses: rent, utilities, insurance, copy paper, salaries, cleaning services, voice and internet service, and even pest control.  These expenses happen with or without a show on the stage. For the 2023/2024 Season, Spotlighters needs to make $150,000 to pay the bills. After taking out expected income from Ticket Sales and Annual Grants, that is $275 of income per day to keep the doors open.

Spotlighters is asking you to support ONE DAY of the theatre’s operations for just $275.

We encourage those who are able, to fund more than one day, even a week.

For $1,375, you get to select 5 days – one work week!

For $825 you fund a three-day weekend.

Some of you already donate more than $275 a year, and we deeply appreciate your generosity! We also know that some of our patrons and partners are not able to donate at the $275 level ... so, we’re asking that you join with friends and family to give a combined gift that meet the $275 level.

You can give the $275 up front or set up a monthly Sustaining Gift of $23 either from your credit or debit card for an annual gift of $276.

Use the donation to celebrate and recognize a special day - an anniversary, a birthday, a graduation, or create a family/friends day.

All Donors will be recognized with their name or the name of their group on a SPOTS-365 Calendar in the Theatre Lobby.
