Solvang Julefest-Tree Lighting Ceremony:

Solvang Park (corner of Mission Drive and First Street). The Tree Lighting Ceremony is slated to include ballerinas encircling the Solvang Christmas tree, live entertainment, caroling and of course, the tree lighting. The Solvang Christmas Tree will illuminate closer to 6:30pm.

Solvang Julefest-Parade:

Join the fun of the jubilant Solvang Julefest Parade. It’s one of the most anticipated seasonal events in Solvang. After a hearty Danish breakfast, get a good viewing spot on Copenhagen Drive or Mission Drive. Behold the display of dancers, holiday floats, horses, marching bands, and more.

Over 400 participants representing 50 groups march and make their way through the Solvang streets. It’s a great way to bring more hygge (Danish coziness) to your holiday celebration.

Julefest Maker's Market:

Fashioned after traditional European night markets, the Solvang Julefest Makers Market will feature crafters and local artisans offering one-of-a-kind holiday gift ideas, seasonal treats, and more, at an open-air Christmas market under the stars, in Solvang Park.

Julefest-Christmas Matters - Holiday Carolers

During the festive season, our downtown area transforms into a vibrant celebration filled with holiday cheer. On, Saturdays, performers from the ensemble Christmas Matters roam the streets, singing carols and spreading joy, which creates a magical atmosphere for everyone.
