With clinics put on by expert guides every day, exciting guest presenters, and even a drytool competition, there’s something for everyone. Join us to bring your ice climbing skills to the next level, dial-in rescue techniques, climb a classic route, or just to see what ice climbing is all about!

Drytool Competition and Ice Bash Kickoff Party

The Drytooling Competition on Friday is going to be (take your pick): awesome, inspiring, insane, off the hook, the best use of your Friday night ever, and a damn good time – it’s where you’ll want to be!  Come watch as some of the East’s strongest climbers converge to try their axe-wielding hands at hanging on and moving through obstacles on FoamIce, stalactites, stein-pulls, and more…

Starting at 6pm at Petra Cliffs Climbing Center
$10 Entry fee, includes 1 raffle ticket
Bring cash for additional Raffle Tickets, raffle proceeds benefit CRAG-VT

Saturday Clinic Schedule

8am - Demo equipment available to Ice Bash Clinic Participants.
8:30am - Clinic participants meet at the Cambridge Community Center in Jeffersonville, VT.
9am - Clinics depart!
9am - Demo equipment available to the General Public.
10:30am - Demo equipment pick-up window ends.
5pm - Demo equipment return window ends.

Saturday Evening Base Camp Bash

Join us for an evening of community, athlete presentations, and shenanigans in celebration of ice climbing. Happy Hour includes beverages by donation, food, vendors, and climbing adjacent challenges and demonstrations. We will be joined by guest speakers for conversations about life, climbing, and the pursuit of adventure in the outdoors. A cash Raffle to benefit CRAG-VT will take place during the evening presentations, bring cash for additional raffle tickets. Happy Hour & Vendor Village 4 PM – 6 PM. Presentations 6 PM – 8 PM. Base Camp Bash tickets are $30 in advance ($35 at the door) All tickets include event entry, food, and one raffle ticket.
