5:30 PM – 8:30 PM : Pints for Polio

Kick off the Seguin Pecan Fest with some pints and friends and join the Seguin Sunrise Rotary Club as they help Eradicate Polio!

6:00 PM – 9:00 PM : Pecan & Vine: A Wine and Cigar Soirée

Enjoy locally made wine and cigars during the happy hour and then enjoy a wonderful dinner featuring a pecan grazing table and pecan themed desserts. Proceeds from the event support Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers and their role in enhancing community safety.

7:00 am –11:00 am : Nuts About Education 5K

The Nuts About Education 5K supports the students and teachers of the Seguin ISD through the Seguin Education Foundation's innovative teaching grants, welcome gifts to new teachers, and a recognition banquet for the top ten percent of graduates and their educator heroes. The 5K starts at Pecantown Books & Brews and goes to Starcke Park using the recently completed Walnut Springs Trail. Runners and walkers are encouraged to check out all the Pecan Fest events after completing the 5K.

9:00 am –3:00 pm : Seguin Heritage Museum

This event celebrates Seguin's history dating back to 1838. We love sharing the heritage of our city while telling the lores and legends of our colorful past. Come shop, taste and see it all at the beautiful downtown Central Park.

10:00 AM – 4:00 pm : Trade Days

Every fall the Seguin Main Street hosts its Fall Trade Days held in conjunction with Seguin's Pecan Fest.

On Saturday, October 28th from 10 am to 4 pm, over 100 vendors will be set up around Central Park.

In addition to the vendors, the Seguin Art League will have a wet paint sale featuring Seguin landmarks painted the day before. Additionally, the public can vote on their favorite piece. The artwork will be set up in front of their building at 104 South Austin Street.

10:00 am – 4:00 pm : Red Barn 20th Anniversary Pecan Fest Event

Take the downtown trolly or park for free at the Big Red Barn to start your day of memories!

Activities:

Outside the Barn: Heritage Village tours & demonstrations, antique tractor pull, farm animal and alpaca visits, new dog costume contest, rope making, classic car and antique equipment exhibits, live local entertainment, master gardner presentations.

Inside the Barn: Pecan baking contest, Koehler Tool exhibit and tour, Ag education & antique equipment exhibits, pecan museum, world's largest pecan, pecan vendors, food and more!

10:00 am – 4:00 pm : Wilson Pottery Foundation Show

Pottery collectors from across Texas will gather to display, sell and trade collections. Activities for kids; pottery wheel photo op; arts and crafts; face painting; balloon artist; jewelry making; coloring sheets.

11:00 am – 4:00 pm : Beer and Wine Garden

12:30 pm – 1:00 pm : Get ?“Crackin’ ” Contest

Think you are the fastest nut cracker in the land? Put your skills to the test by entering our Get "Crackin" Contest. Each contestant will have 3 (three) minutes to crack as many whole pecan halves as possible. We will provide the pecans and the nut crackers - you provide the skill. Prizes for the top three contestants.

7:00 pm – 10:00 pm : Hats Off to Juan Seguin Pub Crawl

The Hats Off to Juan Seguin Pub Crawl will be on Saturday, October 28 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. In honor of Juan Seguin’s 217th birthday, pub crawl participants are asked to show up wearing a fun, creative hat while meeting up with your friends for a fun evening in downtown Seguin. Check in at 1916 Bar & Bistro to get your Hats Off to Juan Seguin Pub Crawl passport. Wear your creative hat all evening long as you go bar to bar. Participating bars will offer drink specials, and several will have entertainment.
