Buying a Home? Refinancing?  Who is Your First Call? Your first calls hould be to a local lender who is trained, experienced and is a Certified Mortgage Advisor (CMA).  According to our concert partner Gaye Jones of Annie-Mac Home Mortgage “There are dozens of loan programs out there and you need help to find the loan that fits you best”.  The other question a CMA like Gaye can help you answer is what can you qualify to buy?

“Most borrowers aren’t qualified to know if they are qualified”, Jones said.  “The regulations and borrowing guidelines change regularly.  I ask lots of questions to get a detailed look at every customer’s financial picture. I use their answers and my knowledge to determine what price range they can realistically look iand then guide them to the best loan program available.”

Annie-Mac Home Mortgage funded more than 5 billion dollars in home loans last year.  Gaye Jones, along with her loan partner Brittany Jones, have helped more than a thousand families in the last decade realize their dream of home ownership.  If you’re looking to refinance or purchase a home, your first call should be to GayeJones of Annie-Mac at 904-599-2551

Our next Free Music & Art by the Sea Concert is Wednesday August 16th

The hot summer is coming toan end, but August 16th is the start of something fun!  The fall season of the iconic Music & Artby the Sea Concert Series kicks off with an extremely hot dance band as we welcome back “SoulFire”!   SoulFire has been part of our concert series for more than a decade. Formerly known as “Steam the Band”, the band changed their name to SoulFire in 2013.  Steam was famous fortheir 1969 Number 1 song Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye and for 4 years,SoulFire bandleader Joey G was the Steam’s drummer.  To avoid a needless legal battle, Joey G changed the band name. So  Music &Art by the Sea has yet another interesting connection to Top 40 Pop and Rock history.

The Art Studio is open all afternoon and features the work of over 100 local artists.  Pavilion seating begins at 4 PM, our friend Tyrone from the Heart & SoulFood Truck will be serving dinner at 5 PM, DJDanimal spins at 5:30 and then at 7 PM, SoulFire sets the dance floor ablaze with a mix of disco, funk and R & B.

Parking is always a challenge so if you live nearby, please walk or ride a bike.  If you are not local, you can park at City Hall (Old Beach Rd at 16th Street) or at Ron Parker Park (Old Beach Rd & Pope Rd) and then ride the Old Town Connect shuttle to and from the show.  We do kindly ask that you pay /tip the driver at least $1.00 per person to help defray the cost.  If you have a group with chairs and a cooler,we suggest dropping off your gear and crew at the Pier and then one person can ride.
