The Hepler Ruritan Rodeo arena, big cash prizes bring the top bull riders from across the country to this small town, where this rodeo is the event of the year. Bring your hat, your boots, and your appetite, and be ready to shed a tear during the National Anthem.

7 p.m. Mutton Bustin' (boys & girls, 7 and under);

8 p.m. URA, MRCA and Open Rodeo;

Dance follows the Rodeo.

July 4, 2025

11 a.m. Parade; Afternoon games;

1:30 p.m. Kids' Games;

2:00 p.m. Hillbilly Games;

7 p.m. Mutton Bustin' (boys & girls, 7 and under);

8 p.m. URA, MRCA and Open Rodeo; and,

Fireworks follow the Rodeo.

Rodeo includes bareback riding, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, team roping, barrels, bull riding, over 40 roping, and break-a-way roping.
