Join us for our annual Jim Bowie Day Cook Off and River Rat Fest, June 14, 2025 featuring Asleep at the Wheel & Jason Boland. BYOB

Bring your lawn chairs and your coolers and join us at the park under the pecan trees and beside the river in Menard, Texas. It is sure to be a good time! The cook off will begin at 9 a.m. with vendors, food, live music and kids activites. Awards will be given at 5 p.m.

Then head to the main stage for Asleep at the Wheel taking the stage at 7 p.m. and Jason Boland & the Stragglers at 9 p.m. This is part of Asleep at the Wheels farewell tour and we are so excited to be a part of it. Put your dancing boots on and hit the dance floor some good old fashion honky tonk fun!

This event is BYOB with a one time cooler charge. Your entry fee gets you into the park all day and also into the concert. It's quite the deal! Online ticket sales will end at 5 p.m. on June 14, 2025, but you may pay at the gate after 5 p.m.
