Salute to Spring ~ Bonjour Printemps

Sunday, April 2, 1:30pm 

Welcome spring with the Museum of Work & Culture's annual "Salute to Spring" event! The program will feature live music from Québécois musician Eric Boodman who will perform a unique blend of fiddle music and foot percussion, and family-friendly entertainment from the award winning Magic by George. Attendees can sample poutine throughout the afternoon with Friskie Fries, Red’s, and Methods of a Mad Woman food trucks on-site serving the French-Canadian dish of French fries, gravy and cheese curds. 

Guests will also have the opportunity to catch a sneak preview of an exciting new Woonsocket-based novel by author Annick de Bellefeuille and learn the French Canadian tradition of palm braiding.

7th Annual Poutine Indulgence

Throughout the month of March 

There is still time to get your poutine passports! Eat your way through Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts, sampling the best poutines around. This year’s participating restaurants will offer passport holders one free sample during the month of March. Restaurants include returning favorites Adeline's in Cumberland, Ciro's Tavern in Woonsocket, Ming's in Pawtucket, Friskie Fries in Johnston & Providence, KG Kitchen in Providence, Poutine Peddlers in Taunton and Red’s Kitchen in Seekonk, along with new entrants Black in Woonsocket, Black Sheep in Providence, and Savini's Pomodoro in Woonsocket. 

Poutine Passports are $15 or 2 for $25.
