Máire Treanor leads this two-day textile workshop dedicated to historical aspects of Irish crochet and Clones lace, a crochet technique that gained popularity for its delicate, intricate design elements.

INTRO TO BATAIREACHT (IRISH STICK FIGHTING) WORKSHOP

This workshop provides a playful environment in which you'll learn a bit of history and a whole lot of movement technique about bataireacht, a martial art from Ireland dating back more than 500 years. No martial arts experience or athletic background required.
