Enjoy a morning of movement, music, and serenity in these guided, outdoor yoga classes in the picturesque setting of Morven Museum & Garden's colonial garden, behind the main Museum building.
Skilled instructors outfitted by lululemon will lead participants through an all-level yoga flow class, accompanied by live music. Yoga in the Garden is suggested for adults and children ages 10+, beginners and regular practitioners at all skill levels!

We are pleased to partner with Edible Jersey magazine to present the first "Festival Farmers' Market" at this year's Princeton Festival as part of Community Day! Bring an appetite for tasty treats to this inaugural event featuring fresh produce from area farms, artisanal products, and local specialties for purchase. It all takes place on the front lawn of Morven Museum & Garden.

Melissa Errico's cabaret-style tribute to Broadway’s greatest songwriter, Stephen Sondheim, offers an outward-driven, kaleidoscopic street fair of New York scenes and moments – summoning back to life the poetic vision of a man who once confessed that his entire creative life had been spent in a twenty-block radius of Manhattan.
First known for her starring roles on Broadway, including My Fair Lady, High Society, Anna Karenina, White Christmas, Dracula, and Les Misérables, Melissa has had a wide-ranging career from television and film to recording.

One of the most captivating artistic voices of our time, Tessa Lark is consistently praised by critics and audiences for her astounding range of sounds, technical agility, and musical elegance. Increasingly in demand in the classical realm, in 2020 she was nominated for a GRAMMY® in the Best Classical Instrumental Solo category. She is also a highly acclaimed fiddler in the tradition of her native Kentucky, delighting audiences with programming that includes Appalachian and bluegrass music. This program will include works by Ysaÿe, Telemann, Bach, and Lark's own arrangements.

Music of Motown's Impact on Civil Rights

As part of the Princeton Festival's Juneteenth Celebration, we'll take a look at the music of Motown and how the record label helped further the cause of the Civil Rights movement in America.
Dr. Rochelle Ellis will trace the origins of Motown and how this distinctive sound affected American pop music, spotlighting some of the major groups on the Motown label in advance of the ticketed evening concert, Masters of Soul.
