A series of large-scale paintings highlighting Katz's interest in the intersection of art and fashion, the texture of the painted surface, and the flatness of pictorial space. In his art autobiography Invented Symbols, Katz wrote, “Fashion is of the moment, and art is supposed to be forever.”
