Pioneer Works 2023 Climate Action Plan
Pioneer Works committed to helping to mitigate climate change through education, direct action, and sustainable practices. To this end, we're excited to introduce our 2023 Climate Action Plan.
Our Climate Action Plan was crafted based on Pioneer Works's carbon footprint and operations in 2022. Highlights include the elimination of single-use plastics, participation in the NYC Department of Sanitation's compost program, and certifying our garden as a National Wildlife Habitat. We’re also new members of Galleries Commit.
PW will also be piloting new science, arts, and ecology programs for students to learn about Red Hook's unique ecosystem in the coming year. Visit our garden this June to check out who’s blooming!
