Midland, MI. – If you are looking for a unique gift for that hard to buy for friend or a special treat for yourself this holiday season, look no further than Creative 360’s Annual Second Hand Picasso Sale. The sale, which is a fundraiser for the arts non-profit, offers original art, collectibles and interesting decorative and useful items from all over the world.  This year’s sale opened the day after Thanksgiving and runs through December 21^st.

Now in its 14^th year, the event has become a favorite for both gift givers and collectors. All proceeds from the sale go towards supporting Creative 360’s mission to offer environments where everyone in the community can experience all aspects of the creative process.

“This might be our favorite fundraising event,” remarked Curator & Program Director Colleen Reed. “It is so wonderful to see all of the beautiful art that is donated, and even better to see the look on someone’s face when they find the perfect treasure for a loved one or themselves.”

The sale offers framed wall art of all sizes, 3 D art, antiques, collectibles such as Depression and Blenko glass, and interesting items from around the world.  Some of the current items for sale are original Native American art from Arizona, a selection of Midland themed prints by local artist Shur Lee, and holiday figurine candles from the 1970’s.  Donations of items happens throughout the sale, so every day brings new items to the floor.

“This fundraiser is a win, win, win,” said Executive Director Laura Vosejpka. “The donor knows that the piece that they loved will find a new home, the buyer finds something to love for a fraction of its cost new, and Creative 360 gets to fill their gallery with people and art! –and also raise funds!”

The Second Hand Picasso Sale is open every weekday, Monday through Friday, from 9 am until 5 pm.  There are often evening and weekend hours, which are listed on the December website calendar.
