Becky Black
Becky has recently completed a new work
She describes it as capturing the essence of the natural world with a range of textures, colors, and shapes while balancing order and spontaneity.

Rich Bohn
Rich had his solo show "Stained Light" at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art.
He describes his process as being "Intuitive Collecting" where he collects and transforms raw material, usually unidentified displaced elements.

Jim Ellsberry
Jim is a new member at OCCCA. He is currently working with other members to organize artists for this year's TRYST Art Fair in Torrance.
His work is about change. Informed by the landscape, his paintings examine contrasting ideas of beauty and disruption, permanence and transformation – all the result of both natural processes and human impact on geography.

Jeffrey Frisch
Jeff had his solo exhibition "Extreme Moderation" at OCCCA this past September.
He is currently working on pen and ink drawings of famous thinkers and philosophers, which are to be used to illustrate a book being made in Connecticut. So far, he has completed over 70 illustrations.

Gianne De Genevraye
For her 4th year, Gianne is participating in the highly selective California Cool Auction benefiting the Laguna Museum of Art.
Gianne will be painting in residence for the month of April at the Museum of Cap d'Ail, the Villa des Camélias, in the south of France.
Gianne de Genevraye will be exhibiting works on paper at the St. John's Anglican Library in Menton, France from May 4th to June 29th. The exhibition, Paysages Imaginaire will be on view for 2 months

Gina Genis
Recently, Gina was interviewed for KOCI Radio for OCCCA's most recent open call "Urban Expression."
Additionally, she is currently singing in two different choruses, Laguna Beach Chamber Singers and Laguna Beach Community Chorus. The Chamber Singers perform in May and the Community Chorus performs in June. Both concerts are free to the public.
E.E. Jacks
E.E. Jacks's work is on the moon! The Lunar Codex curated her work into the NOVA & POLARIS Capsules. The NOVA-C Lander aka ‘Odysseus‘ of Intuitive Machines, was successfully launched on 2/14/24 and landed on the moon on 2/22/24. POLARIS is scheduled for launch on 11/24.
Jacks has also been showcased in museums such as MOLAA, the Yellowstone and Yosemite Museums and been recognized by the California Legislature and exhibited in the John Wayne Airport and California State Capitol.

Tom Lamb
Tom currently has several of his aerial carpets on view for the California Cool Exhibition at the Laguna Art Museum. Additionally, he is featured in Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center's exhibition "Climate" on view from April 3rd to May 25th.
Tom is also gearing up for his OCCCA show "Spirit Possession" which will be on view June 1st - 29th.

Bella Marinos
Bella's piece "Mom's Lucky Charms" was recently featured in the Every Women Biennial, "I Will Always Love You" in NYC. Additionally, their work has been selected for Brea Gallery's " Made In California" exhibition on view from April 27th to June 23rd.
Bella will also be participating in a two-week summer workshop at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.

Robin Repp
Robin's piece "Trumpet Flower" is currently on view at Coastline College for their "Me/23" exhibition. This exhibition is on view from April 10th - May 3rd.
Her piece (image above) is featured in the Billboard Creative exhibition in downtown LA and will be on view through April 2024.

Soheila Siadate
Soheila's solo exhibition "The Third Feather of Simurgh: Contagious Dictatorship And Fragile Democracy" at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art.
Her art alludes to the plight of those held hostage by aesthetically echoing suffering through the harsh corridors of their despair. Yet, amid the despair, a glimmer of hope takes flight, embodied by the legendary, fabled bird, Simurgh.

Mike Tauber
Mike Tauber is a new member at OCCCA. His recent public art tile murals are at Frontier Park in Tustin, Primrose Park in Temple City, and The Taco Stand Restaurant in Laguna Beach, where he was named "Artist of the Year 2024-25" by the Patriots Day Parade Association.
His landscapes and classic car pictorials will be exhibited at the "Festival of Arts" in Summer 2024.
