What's new with OCCCA Artists?
The Artists that work to make the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art an outstanding non-profit, alternative gallery space in Southern California have continued to create during this time of Covid with many projects and accomplishments. We thought you might like to see what we have been up to the last few months beyond the gallery.
Come meet our artists during the Art Walk on March 4, 2023, between 6:00 -10:00 pm as we have returned to opening receptions in the gallery with the exhibition: Architecture in Contemporary Art
OCCCA Artists, Tom Lamb and Gianne de Genevraye are in in the Laguna Art Museum's California Cool exhibition and Auction through March 4th.
The new book, Frontal Absurdity, by OCCCA Artist Richard Bohn is now available at the Barnes & Noble online book store.
224 pages of Social/Political Satire and Commentary with Historical Context. Approved as mostly funny by most persuasions. Recommended to be consumed in small doses.
OCCCA Artist, Carolyn Yarnell awarded an artist residency at Ucross.
Composer and visual artist, Carolyn Yarnell, awarded an artist residency at the Ucross Foundation in Clearmont, Wyoming, is working on new work in a warm and wonderful log cabin with a grand piano and a view of the spacious, snowy Wyoming landscape by day and under dazzling stars on clear nights.
