Mary June Wilkins, age 96 of Seymour, beloved wife of the late Peter Frederick Wilkins, died peacefully on March 25, 2025 at Griffin Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Helen Neary Demanchyk.

She is survived by her devoted children, Frederick S. (Mary) Wilkins of Seymour, June E. Guerrera of Seymour, Lenore A. Nolan of Seymour and Peter G. (Christopher Toto) Wilkins of NY; cherished grandchildren, Nicole R. Shaw of Ansonia, Kaitlin J. Danielecki of Wethersfield and Brian J. Danielecki of Bristol; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 57 years, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Mark D. Guerrera; a sister, Margaret Teodosio, and a brother, Victor Demanchyk.

A Mass of Christian Burial, meeting directly at church, will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Church of the Good Shepherd of St. Nicholas Parish, 135 Mountain Rd., Seymour. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. The Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia is in care of arrangements.
